Frame Blending is indeed only available for actual video footage. Like if I precompose, and then frame blend the cmoposed layer, I need to hit "continuous rasterization" so that the frame blending happens to the parent layer that was composed right?

This is classic Pixel Motion frame blending glitches. You'll notice it between cuts if you go frame by frame. It's trying to add new frames and whenever the frames to either side are too different it doesn't know what to do - like cuts and crazy concert lighting or flashes. I've never used it on an entire clip for this reason.

Hey all! I'm working on a project with a lot of CG footage and in AE i've been time remapping all the precomps to get things timed right. It's ready for final delivery but I just noticed that AE is not doing any sort of frame blending (in this case I want pixel motion) to the shots! Is it seriously not possible to frame blend precomps???
